As Creative Director at Dog Consultancy, I worked with Isle of Harris Distillers across several years of campaign creative and global marketing. It's a brand rooted in genuine purpose: the distillery exists to support the community and keep jobs on the island. That integrity showed in how much care everyone brought to the work.
The festive campaigns centred on the Gaelic tradition of the Cèilidh, framing Harris Gin as part of how people come together rather than a luxury to cut. The following year I shot the gift set campaign myself in studio: unboxing reveals, shallow depth of field, footage that kept earning its keep long after the campaign closed.
On the global side, I led simultaneous launches of Harris Gin and The Hearach Whisky into the US, Canada, and Germany. And for their first move into travel retail, I conceived and produced a synchronised multi-screen installation across Edinburgh and Glasgow airports, a curved bar display and three-sided column wrapping travellers in the sights of Harris, with no audio permitted, so every frame had to carry the story on its own.
