No account handlers, no juniors, no handover points. Just 24 years of agency experience applied directly to your project.

Both. I work equally well with startups finding their voice and established brands that need to say something better. The size of the brand matters less than the quality of the question and the ambition behind the brief.

How does pricing work?

I work on either a day rate or a fixed project fee, depending on what suits the project. Pricing is discussed openly from the first conversation — no surprises later.

How long does a project take?

A brand identity typically takes six to twelve weeks. A campaign might run from two weeks to two months. Timelines are agreed upfront and I work to them. If you have a fixed deadline, tell me early and I will be honest about what is achievable.

Projects begin with listening — understanding the business, the audience, and the real problem to solve. I share thinking early and keep clients close to every decision throughout, so nothing comes as a surprise when work is delivered.

Yes, and I do this regularly. I can lead the creative entirely or bring specialist thinking to fill a specific gap alongside your existing team or agency partner. The priority is always making the work better.

Do you work remotely, or can you come to us?

Mostly remote. For kick-offs, workshops, or key presentations where being in the room adds value, I am available in person. I am based in the UK.

My strongest work is with consumer and lifestyle brands, culture and entertainment organisations, and purpose-led businesses including B-corps. I also have depth in financial services and technology, with clients including Baillie Gifford and IES. The brief matters more than the sector.

Brand films, animated identity systems, explainer videos, social content, and screen-based installations. My background is in broadcast motion graphics, with heritage at studios including Lambie-Nairn, known for the BBC's channel identities. Motion adds meaning, not just movement.

What is AI-assisted content creation and is it real design?

AI-assisted content creation uses generative tools to produce high-quality visual assets faster and more cost-effectively than traditional production. The tools have changed; the judgement has not. What makes the output good is the same as any creative work: a clear brief and an informed point of view.

Who owns the work once a project is complete?

Full intellectual property rights transfer to you on completion and receipt of final payment. Any licensing requirements around third-party assets will be flagged clearly before they become part of the work.
