Info
Euronews is a multilingual rolling news channel headquartered in Lyon, France. Founded in 1993, it broadcasts simultaneously in 13 languages and reaches over 400 million households across 160 countries.
In 2017 I was brought in to refresh the channel's visual identity. The starting point was a core idea: 'All views.' From that, I developed a visual system built around a view of the world from above the pole, looking down across all the time zones radiating outward from a single point. It felt like the right metaphor for what Euronews actually does: presenting news from every corner of the world, across every perspective, all at once. That radial structure became the backbone of the identity.
I took that logic and ran it through the whole channel package. Channel idents, promo packaging, programme title sequences. Everything shared the same underlying idea of different slices or cross-sections of viewpoints and events. The concept wasn't just a logo treatment; it was a coherent system with a single idea holding it together underneath.
